VISA INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS
The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON Quantum Computing & Engineering Summit welcomes speakers & delegates from all over the world. Below is essential visa-related information to assist with your travel planning for visiting London, UK.
1. Do You Need a Visa?
- Check if you require a Standard Visitor visa to enter the United Kingdom using the official GOV.UK website or your local British Embassy/High Commission.
- Nationals of many countries (including USA, EU countries, Canada, Australia, Japan, etc.) may enter the UK for short-term visits (up to 6 months) for conferences without applying for a visa in advance.
- All visitors from non-visa-exempt countries must apply for a Standard Visitor Visa for conference attendance.
2. Visa Types
- Standard Visitor Visa: For business/conference purposes, typically valid for stays up to 6 months.
- Direct Airside Transit Visa (DATV): Required for certain nationalities even if they don't leave the airport transit area.
3. Required Documents
- Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity from your planned date of arrival).
- Proof of onward travel (confirmed return flight ticket).
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking confirmation).
- Proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of stay.
- Letter of Invitation (provided by the Summit Committee upon registration).
4. Invitation Letter
- Registered participants can request an official invitation letter to support their visa application. This letter confirms your registration and participation in the congress.
